The goal of the TAAP program is to foster achievement, enhance aptitude, and nurture creativity in order to help each child realize his or her potential as a learner. To that end, the TAAP Specialist provides assistance to teachers in differentiating classroom curriculum to challenge students at appropriate levels and to stimulate complex thinking and problem solving. TAAP students also meet with the TAAP Specialist during Flex periods as advanced options are offered and as students’ interest dictates.
